Battery life of a radio bell

Our radio transmitters are battery-operated so that your Metzler radio bell can be mounted 100% wireless. Depending on the model, the built-in battery in the radio transmitter of the radio bell is a button cell of type CR3023 or a 23A battery. Both models are available in every drugstore and supermarket near you.

Thanks to the low power consumption you can expect a battery life of 12-24 months. So you only have to change the battery very rarely.
