Laser engraving
This is how a laser engraving is made on Edelstahl-Türklingel.de
Laser engraving is one of the most popular engraving methods for doorbells, mailboxes and house number shields. Theoretically, laser engraving is not a "real" engraving in the conventional sense, as no material is removed during processing. The material, for example stainless steel, is heated during engraving by a strong laser beam in such a way that the surface changes.
Advantages of laser engraving:
- Weatherproof - no fading of the fonts on your doorbell or mailbox.
- Very precise, even with filigree letterings.
- High quality, clean appearance.

A laser engraving or laser lettering is the engraving of objects with a strong laser beam.
In contrast to laser printing, in which only the pigment application on the printed material is controlled by a weak laser beam, laser engraving changes the engraved material itself.
The process and energy input therefore depend on the material. Laser letterings are waterproof and smudge-proof and durable.
